houseplants to the door - nurtured from within UK prison glasshouses | giving second chances + growing good

this was our first community interest company project, it was an honour be on board to create a brand iD + website. we started by identifying, distilling + harnessing the essence of the glasshouse mission, establishing core messages. then we explored + presented a wide variety of design concepts, all united in their character, flair + expression. the route ‘Victorian Palm-house’ was chosen, we proceeded to the development phase to create the dynamic, distinct, multi-faceted identity with the brand logo, marks, patterns, palette + fonts. meanwhile we worked with the team to create a retail deck for one of London’s most iconic departments stores who agreed to host a series of pop-up events. as the pandemic hit, we pivoted with the glasshouse first to create an employee recognition proposal for corporate clients to send plants to employees working from home + thus share the wellbeing benefits of plants. then we moved onto creating, managing + launching a direct to consumer e-commerce website showcases beautiful house plants ready to buy - plants nurtured + grown by women from within the once disused prison glasshouses.
